If you were absent from Mrs. Peters class on Wednesday, May 18, please download a copy of the essay on Kingsolver's style in Bean Trees in Word doc form.

You will need to read up to the end of ch. 9 by Tuesday, May 24.

You will need to identify and explain one example each of dialect, allusion and figurative language in the 9 chapters we have read so far. Be prepared to submit this for evaluation.
